Awards Supported
Gilead Sciences will be supporting a minimum of 4 awards through this program. Each awardee will receive $180,000 that will be paid directly to the scholars institution.
This program is designed to support any basic or clinical research limited to breast, endometrial, ovarian, or small cell lung cancer that addreses any unmet medical need in the field of Oncology Solid Tumors.
Timeline
Submission Deadlines
Round 1, One-Page Specific Aims Deadline: November 13, 2026 11:59 PM PT
No applications will be accepted after this date.
Round 2, Detailed Proposal* Deadline: March 10, 2026 11:59 PM PT
*only applicable to the top applicants who are invited to submit a detailed five-page research proposal
Applicant Notification
Email notification for Round 1 applicants will be sent to all applicants on or before February 2027.
The top scoring applicants from Round 1 will be invited to submit an application for Round 2.
Email notification for Round 2 applicants will be sent in May 2027.
