Gilead Sciences will be supporting a minimum of 4 awards through this program. Each awardee will receive $100,000 that will be paid directly to the scholars institution.

Submission Deadlines
Round 1, One-Page Specific Aims Deadline: 28 August 2026 11:59 PM CET
No applications will be accepted after this date.
Round 2, Detailed Proposal* Deadline: 2 December 2026 11:59 PM CET
*only applicable to the top applicants who are invited to submit a detailed five-page research proposal
Applicant Notification
Email notification for Round 1 applicants will be sent to all applicants on or before October 2026.
The top scoring applicants from Round 1 will be invited to submit an application for Round 2.
Email notification for Round 2 applicants will be sent in February 2027.
